Noel Clarke has said there is no bad feeling between him and Michael Fassbender, despite Noel beating him to the Bafta Orange Rising Star Award.
The two are currently filming scenes for the forthcoming Neil Marshall film Centurion and they have bonded over their love of rap music.
"There's no bad blood at all, he's a great man," Noel said, adding: "I love Mike, he's a really nice guy and he loves rap music like I do so we spend a lot of the time singing songs, and I've lent him some old classic albums... He knows his stuff so we're schooling each other."
The Adulthood director added that the Bafta win had opened some doors for him but he was not going to get complacent.
"It was only two months ago but already things have started to happen that didn't before. But it's over, I just have to get on with what I do. I'm not the kind to carry it around in my jacket pocket and say I'm a Bafta winner, it's done, it's on my shelf and I just have to keep on working like I always did," he said.
Noel has provided the voiceover campaign for three trailers, directed by Little Britain director Steve Bendelack, which feature film fans paying homage to iconic moments from Lord Of The Rings, The Life Of Brian and Jaws.
The trailers, which hit cinemas today (Thursday April 2) are part of You Make The Movies, a new campaign to combat illegal downloading.
