Elton John is David's fashion icon

David Furnish has named his civil partner Sir Elton John as his fashion icon.
The Canadian filmmaker - who was dating the Rocket Man star for 11 years before getting hitched in 2005 - made the revelation at Harvey Weinstein's Nowhere Boy party at the Cannes Film Festival, which he attended with Patrick Cox.
After declaring Elton to be his fashion icon David added: "We love going shopping for clothes together."
The 46-year-old director and producer - whose most famous work is a documentary he made about his partner in 1997 called Elton John: Tantrums And Tiaras - was wearing lilac trousers and a white shirt with co-ordinating lilac stripe.
