Ronan Keating is to play his first tour in Australia in eight years in January 2010.
The Irish superstar has cast doubt over a Boyzone tour as he thinks it might be too "emotional" following the death of Stephen Gately, but he's set to perform solo concerts in Melbourne and Sydney, and seven outdoor winery dates around the country.
Ronan will arrive in Australia next week to promote his new album, Stay, and to formally announce the tour dates, according to Liveguide.com.au.
He will be supported by Australian singer Tina Arena, who told the website: "There really is nothing like the outdoor venues in Australia. They are some of the best places on earth and surrounded by the holy grape!"
She added: "Touring them with Ronan will be an amazing start to 2010. I'm really looking forward to touring with Ronan. We've sung together before but never toured together, so that has me really excited. He's a genuinely lovely guy".
