A 19-year-old man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court accused of murdering schoolboy Jimmy Mizen in south-east London.

Jake Fahri, of Lee, was remanded after appearing at Sutton Magistrates' Court accused of murdering the 16-year-old in Lee on Saturday. He will appear before the Old Bailey on August 21.

Jimmy was stabbed to death at the Three Cooks bakery, the day after his 16th birthday. The 6ft 4in committed Christian was the 13th teenager to be murdered in London so far this year. His parents, Barry, 56, and Margaret, 55, have paid loving tribute to their "saint" of a son and recalled the happy final few days they spent with him.
