Two in court on terror charges

Two men have appeared in court charged with supporting terrorism overseas

Two men have appeared in court accused of supporting overseas terrorism.

Musse Said Yusuf, 31, of Higgs Close, Leicester, is accused of owning instructional terrorist videos and operating a website which published terrorist literature.

Ahmed Said Mohammed, 32, of Southcott House, Devons Road, east London, is charged with possessing money for the purpose of terrorism.

They were arrested during a joint operation between the Metropolitan Police and Leicestershire Constabulary.

The men, of Somali origin, who were arrested in dawn raids last month, were remanded in custody until July 9 for a committal hearing when they appeared before City of Westminster Magistrates' Court in London.
