A woman has been arrested after police found the body of a 77-year-old pensioner, police said.
West Yorkshire Police said the woman was found dead at an address in Horbury, near Wakefield.
Officers said they were first called to the Chapel Hill area of Huddersfield on Friday morning where they found a woman with stab wounds.
She was taken to hospital, where she is in a non-life threatening condition, and when police then searched the address in Horbury they found the dead pensioner.
A post mortem examination is due to take place.
No details about how the woman died have been released.
The spokeswoman said a 41-year-old woman had been arrested on suspicion of murder and remained in custody as investigations continued.
